This course spans six months and is a Pre-Sea Training Program approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Government of India.
The curriculum encompasses both theoretical and practical aspects, focusing on Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping, and Maritime Familiarization. Successful completion of this program opens doors for trainees to join the merchant navy in the Hospitality Department.
As a Catering/Saloon Rating, you'll be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities, including culinary duties and stewardship. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in emergency response teams, actively participating in fire-fighting, security measures, and passenger rescue operations.
